The photovoltaic kit is compact and easy to install.
It was created to provide power to electric gate operators on a stand-alone basis (operates 24 hours a day, even in the event of a power failure) or any other application that requires 24V.
This kit includes:
- 2 10W polycrystalline solar panels(SPR6026)
- 2 lead storage batteries 12V 7.2Ah (high performance and long life)(AMC9003)
- 1 STECA Solsum 6.6F 12V / 24V charge controller
- 2 x 5-meter 4mm solar cables with MC4 connectors(SXQ6010)
- 1 set of cables for connecting your batteries, charge controller and equipment
- 1 compact mounting bracket
The solar kit has been sized to meet the expectations below:
- Minimum autonomy of 2 days without sun with an average consumption of 20Wh per day
- 5 hours of lighting on average per day during the year
- Daily consumption of 20 Wh on average.
Daily output is estimated at 20 Wh / day but depends on several factors, the most important of which are the following:
- your geographical location
- the orientation and tilt of your solar panels
- any shading

Tips and tricks:
- To take full advantage of the performance of your batteries, fully recharge them one by one before installing them on your PV kit
- Orient your panels to the south at an angle of 30 to 45 degrees to optimize electricity production.
- Turn off your appliances when you are not using them
- Make sure the surface of your solar panels is clean. If necessary, feel free to wash them with clean water.
Note: This is a 24V solar kit, to use 230V devices it will be essential to add a 24 / 230V converter.
