This photovoltaic kit is compact and easy to install. It allows you to produce and store electricity to light multiple rooms, power a garden shed or electrical devices, or even 12V electric gate motors!
This kit includes:
- 2 150W monocrystalline solar panels(SPR6021)
- 1 12V 140Ah lead gel battery(AMP9068)
- 1 MPPT20 12V / 24V-20A charge controller(SXX5925)
- 2 x 5-meter 4mm solar cables with MC4 connectors(SXQ6012)
- 1 pair of MC-T4 shunt connectors
- 2 MC4 connectors with 15A non-return diode
The solar kit has been sized to meet the following expectations:
- 2 days minimum solar-free runtime with an average consumption of 500Wh per day
- 5 hours of lighting on average per day during the year
- Meet a daily consumption of 500 Wh on average.
Daily output is estimated at 500 Wh / day but depends on several factors, the most important of which are the following:
- your geographical location
- the orientation and tilt of the solar panels
- any shading
Examples of applications:
- Water pumping and irrigation
- Camper/boat
Tips and tricks:
- To maximize the performance of your batteries, fully recharge them one by one before installing them on your PV kit
- Orient the panels to the south at an angle of 30 to 45 degrees to optimize power production
- Turn off electrical appliances when you are not using them
- Make sure the surface of your solar panels is clean. If necessary, feel free to wash them in clean water.
Please note: this is a 12V solar kit, to use 230V devices it will be essential to add a 12 / 230V converter.
