The Ctek MXS 5.0 charger is an advanced microprocessor-based charger capable of solving most lead-acid battery performance issues.
It offers numerous functions including automatic temperature compensation.

The 8 charging steps of the CTEK MXS 5.0 charger:
- DESOLFATION: battery capacity is restored by sulfate removal using voltage pulses
- SOFT START: checking the battery status and activating the charging process -
- MASS: charging to 80% with maximum current
- ABSORPTION: charging to 100% with decreasing current
- ANALYSIS: checks whether the battery is able to hold a charge. If not, it will need to be replaced.
- RECONDITIONING: recovery function in case of deep discharge
- FLOATING: maintains the voltage at its maximum level
- PULSANTE MAINTENANCE CHARGE: maintains the battery capacity at a constant level of 95-100%. A pulse is sent if necessary.
